As you may know, back in October my high school sweetheart asked me to marry him! The past few months have been such a sweet season of life filled with wedding preparations, venue hunting, counseling, and so many details. While we decided to keep the majority of our wedding journey off of social media to maintain a level of privacy, I am thrilled to be working with Basic Invite to put together the various stationery items necessary for a magical event.
What is Basic Invite?
Basic Invite is a stationary, invitation and announcement company that has made the design + ordering of printed and digital materials so so simple! Whether you need formal wedding invitations, place cards or a wedding website, their designs are dreamy and easy to customize!
When ordering materials such as save the dates and formal invitations, I wanted to make sure there was a general theme that looked cohesive with the rest of our wedding items (menus, thank you cards, etc). Basic Invite has put together over 900 different packages with that in mind, each having everything from your save the dates to ceremony programs included! That way, all the materials you decide to order have a polished look perfect for your special day. Pictured below is an example of Annie & Drake's wedding invitation card as well as other materials including save the dates, rehearsal information, registry links, and programs all within the same set.
Another item that is crucial, especially for a larger reception, are place cards. Allowing your guests to find their seats with a personalized place card is simple with Basic Invite’s various stylized options. There is truly something for every couple, and elements of each including the colors can be modified to fit your specific theme. Place cards did not immediately come to mind when I was brainstorming print materials to order, so I’m thankful Basic Invite’s website showed me typical packages couples choose from! You can find the entire selection linked here under place cards wedding.
Free Wedding Websites
Creating a wedding website where your guests can access links to registries, maps, detailed information, and photos after the event has become such a staple for the modern couple! We will be using our wedding website to try out digital RSVPs as well as linking information that guests can access to read up on specific traditions from our ceremony. Basic Invite has made this website creation process so simple with their FREE website creation service! Not only are the websites designed for desktop and mobile users, but there are 180 color choices and designs available!
Thank you very much to Basic Invite for working with me on this blog post and for helping to create some of the keepsake items that I will cherish long after our ceremony is over! You can find Basic Invite’s website here, as well as their Instagram and Facebook.
